  1. Our season has been over ever since Phil Neville stuck it in the back of the net in, what, October?

Thanks to Hibs we’re guaranteed one cup this season, otherwise it’s a return to the same old same old. Sad days when a struggling Premiership team can attract players but guaranteed European football can’t :'(

I predicted an absolute mauling yesterday and if it wasn’t for Klos it would have been, but fair play to Celtic, they wanted it more compared to Rangers who had some players who were just going through the motions. And Gavin Rae looks to be a great signing, add him to the the list of Oleg Kuznetsov & Daniel Prodan (remember him) and countless others as fitness test failures.

  2. Klos played pretty damn well, just a shame that as you say the Celts obviously just wanted it more. Also a shame about Rae (cue Lemonheads joke), would have been nice to see him play to get more of a measure of him.

  3. Yep, it would have been nice…

But I guess we just have to wait til next season to see how Celtic cope with the loss of Henke and (maybe) Sir Martin O’Neill

Hmmm… I wonder how many hardcore Celtic fans were up in arms about O’Neill being honoured by the British monarchy, one to ponder at a later date methinks.

  4. hehe, good point, didn’t think of that! With luck the O’Neill L’pool stuff is just scuttlebutt – O’Neill himself has denied it, but of course he would either way, wouldn’t he? ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. He’ll be linked with every job, he might go this time. I mean, there’s only so many times you can humiliate Rangers before it becomes boring (hehe).

Bit of a step down though, wasn’t he linked with Man Utd a few years back? Nowadays it’s Liverpool or Tottenham, may as well go back to Leicester really…
