The woman who lets out her cottage said that there would be mobile phone coverage — I can only get a decent signal for the laptop on the window ledge in the lounge. Hmmm. Reasonable for the laptop, but a bit crap if you actually want to talk to someone — and no, I didn’t bring a hands free kit.

Off out to see my dad’s brother and his wife and kids, who stay down in Swansea. A very nice drive down through the Brecon Beacons park.
