Made it to Jim’s just outside Cardiff — didn’t get lost like the last time in July with Ade, Iyan and Qif in tow!!

Picked up Super Monkey Ball for GC, some comics from the Comix Shoppe (natch) and Louise Wener’s new book, Goodnight Steve McQueen (quick history lesson: Louise Wener was lead vocalist and songwriter for mid-90s britpop band Sleeper, who I thought were rather cool, but they’ve since split up — tch). So that’s me spent out on frivolousness for another month hehe.

Watched Lena try and persuade Jim to buy a chinchilla from the huge pet store (he didn’t, but he didn’t have his wallet with him, so it was probably a close one!!), ate big Domino’s pizzas and watched most of LOTR on DVD. And then crashed. A lot.
