bah – so, monday night, I get home and order a mixed calzone (calzone pizza with spicy chicken, doner meat and spicy onions) from my local takeaway, and munch away after it gets delivered. later on in the night, i notice that the mild toothache i had while at jim’s on sunday is getting worse. I didn’t get to sleep until about 6am in the end. Similar tale last night – i could only sleep in fits and starts. I went to the dentist this afternoon at about 2pm, after they said they could take me in right away, and got home at about 4:15pm. Turns out i had an abcess in progress (number three for me, fact fans), so the dentist — who isn’t my regular dentist, he’s off on his hols — took out the filling in one of my teeth, laid down some antibiotic cream, and put a temp filling on it. I now have an appointment with my regular dentist next week to finish it off. I’m also now on amoxycillin, just as I have some nice bottles of cabernet and shiraz to look forward to after coming back from holiday :( bah
