Incidentally, I caught up with some of the September 11th stuff that’s been on television the past week, and managed to watch 9/11 — I dare anyone to watch this and walk away with a cold heart about the whole thing. I know some people have been rampaging against the large amount of patriotism and remembrance the last week, but watch this and realise why some people are wanting to remember. It’s a stunning piece of video journalism — revealing, humbling, and not at all mawkish or sensationalist at any time. The fact that it basically came about by accident is all the more amazing.
