Bloody computers … my main workstation, challenger, is crashing rather too often for my liking … and yes, it’s running Windows — Windows 2000 Professional, to be precise. Maybe “crashing” is too strong a word. It’s hanging. Apps stop responding, then a few seconds later the screen doesn’t redraw, and all I can do is twirl the cursor around the screen. I can think of only one time I managed to recover, and that was by somehow getting it to reboot from the ctrl+alt+del task switcher. This time, about half an hour ago, it was reset button time.

On a lighter note, it looks like I might be getting a G4 Power Mac with Adobe Photoshop 7 soon … ooooh, looking forward to dual processors and Mac OS X now :)
