It’s that time again … time for the King William’s College General Knowledge Paper, aka the King William’s Quiz. The Grauniad features this every year, and it’s become a recurring feature on Telsa Gwynne‘s blog too, as she and her friends try and Google their way out of a seriously tricky paper bag. With evil questions printed on it. Last year’s effort to answer all the questions was performed with military precision — I think this year they just want it out of the road, the organiser from last year having “wimped out” (Telsa’s words, not mine!)

I looked at last years and just giggled nervously to myself, realising how inferior my brain must be to not actually comprehend what I was being asked, so I have nothing but awe, kudos and sympathy for anyone attempting it this, or any other year. And $DEITY help those poor kids at that college on the Isle of Man … I bet they don’t get to use Google!
