Saturday was ze day of marching, protesting against the pending GW2 (George’s War 2) with America vs Iraq. The difference this time is that there are an increasing amount of detractors who are being more vocal than in the past. Last time, EvilSaddam invaded Kuwait and started burning off the oil fields. This time, he’s been sitting about one of his palaces, hatching Evil plans, and bopping around to MTV. It’s all very well being proactive in preventing Evil types from attempting World Domination (or whatever it is that Evil types do in real life — they always opt for World Domination in the movies), by means of sanctions, resolutions and diplomatic discussion, but when “we” decide to bomb the shit out of another country because they might do Evil deeds, aren’t we getting into extremely murky territory?
Anyway, here are some photos from marches around the world by fellow evoltistas — I had family stuff intrude, and had to bail on going to the Glasgow march …

John has a great post about the London march, and his huge part in it. I liked the bit about the helicopter.
