The hard drive in the Vaio just made a horrendous clunky clicky sound there … Looks like it could be time to walk the path of new hard drive time … or possibly new Vaio time, although I’m desperately trying to hold out until the Z series Centrino Vaios have 802.11g WiFi built in, instead of 802.11b …
