aha – i’ve neglected blogger again! So for my sins, I’ve signed up to Blogger™ Pro – Ev’s doing an early adopter deal of $35 for the year to get preferential servers, more features, and so on.

Since I last blogged, I’ve changed jobs – I’m now working for SmoothWall :) Working from home is certainly something to get used to, but a lot of the stuff I’m doing is the same stuff I’ve done for SmoothWall the GPL project over the last year, but I get to spend more time doing it, and I get my evenings back!

on a sad note, my server for the last year, intrepid (a Dell Optiplex GXpro I bought 2nd user just before xmas 2000), has decided that its 2nd IDE controller isn’t going to work for anything longer than an hour or so at a time. And of course that would be the channel with the two 30 gig drives hanging off it with my entire MP3 collection and god knows what else … so I’ve mass umounted /store (where the 30 gig drives live) and am thinking of either finding a replacement or sourcing a new IDE card, like an ATA-100 job. Needs to support Linux tho … bleh.

Well, I shall blog again – if I’m paying for it, I’d bloody well better!!
