Looks like me and iyanus will be stoating off to Nottingham next week to collect waco (our colocated SPARCstation 20 running OpenBSD, which has an uptime of about 2 years) in preparation for neowaco!

Basically neowaco will be a dual PIII 800, with a gig of RAM (to start with), 80 gig of RAID1 disk (so 160GB in total), and it will be colocated in the Telehouse (as opposed to some skanky datacentre in the Midlands). The mobo we’re gonna use is the Tyan Tiger 200T, which made us all make Homer Simpson noises when we first saw it! We’ll be assembling the kit and building the OS (probably Debian Linux) here prior to getting it down to London, so I’ll dutifully take some random photos for the photo album :)
