I’ve had a day to read and get used to The Observer in its Berliner format. It’s much easier to handle, much easier to read, and every writer seems almost painfully aware of the change. The quality of both the Guardian’s and Observer’s journalism is fantastic; now they have a great-looking platform from which to display it. Kudos!
Still won’t deliver the increased circulation to make the *hideous* amount of money they’ve spent on new presses worthwhile.
