Suddenly realised I had 7.3 gigabytes of unprocessed (e.g. unsorted and unplaylisted) MP3s knocking about on my main non-work file server. Half of that is Sonic Youth stuff (I’m sure some of it is duplicated, but I need to weed out and identify live stuff from ‘b’sides from bootlegs), and the rest is a mixture of allsorts. I love finding random music I thought I’d lost or didn’t have in the first place—almost as satisfying as finding a tenner in your back pocket … almost :)
