It was time to go pick up Clare and her daughter Ellie from the airport. Somehow, I had the route there and back totally nailed, and Sabrina and I sat about in one of the airport bars drinking coffee and talking about random things appearing on Sky News. Clare is not a good flyer apparently, and it turns out when their flight in from Stansted was on finals to land, the wings were wobbling all over the shop – my first thought was crosswinds making things difficult for the crew – which had to suck for someone not chuffed with flying! Ellie, who’s nearly 5, was bouncing about like she’d been given raw sugar from the cabin crew :) We bundled off into the Marea and headed back to Dublin to chill out for a couple of hours before trekking down to Kilkenny.
